Icing - lesson learned

So, this past week, my mother found a new "discount" store and wanted me to go with her. They had some powdered sugar there for a lot less than what I spend on it usually and I thought - what the heck, I'll try it. So, this morning, I am in a big hurry and start making my icing using this new sugar and look into my mixer and it looks like a big blob of glue. Needless to say, cheaper is not better by a long shot. I had to scrap it and go back to my old faithful. The icing turned out perfect. Lesson learned is- if it's not broke, don't fix it!!!!
